A yoga teacher, lifelong student, and guide dedicated to helping people develop a safe, sustainable, and meaningful yoga practice. For me, yoga is more than physical exercise. It is a method of understanding the body, calming the mind, and cultivating awareness and balance in everyday life.
My journey with yoga began as a personal exploration. Like many, I first stepped onto the mat seeking strength, mobility, and relief from daily stress. With consistent practice and study, yoga gradually revealed a deeper dimension. one of patience, clarity, and self-inquiry. This inner transformation inspired me to pursue formal education in yoga and eventually dedicate myself to teaching.

I hold a Master’s degree (MA) in Yoga, where I studied yogic philosophy, anatomy, physiology, pranayama, meditation, and classical texts. This academic foundation allows me to teach with both traditional depth and modern understanding, particularly in the areas of alignment, injury prevention, and long-term practice. Beyond formal education, my learning continues through daily practice, self-study (svādhyāya), workshops, and guidance from experienced teachers. I believe a yoga teacher should always remain a student.
About Yoga by Arvind
We Shape Mind & Body
My teaching approach is alignment-focused, mindful, and accessible. I emphasize safe and intelligent alignment, breath awareness, gradual progress, and respect for individual body differences. Every body is unique, so I encourage students to listen inward rather than force external shapes. Clear verbal cues, thoughtful sequencing, and appropriate modifications help beginners feel supported while allowing experienced practitioners to refine their awareness.
I teach online group classes, private one-on-one sessions, and workshops, making yoga accessible regardless of location. Online classes are live and supported with recordings, while private sessions offer personalized guidance for specific goals, alignment correction, or therapeutic needs. Workshops provide deeper exploration of posture alignment, breathwork, and yogic principles

When you practice with me, you can expect calm instruction, logical sequencing, a non-competitive environment, and practical tools that extend beyond the mat. My aim is not to push students into advanced postures, but to help them build confidence, consistency, and awareness.
Yoga is not a performance it is a practice of presence. If you are seeking a grounded, safe, and authentic approach to yoga, you are warmly invited to join and begin where you are.
